"Gobble till you Wobble"

I couldn't resist making this little gem from Briarwood Cottage designs.  It will hang outside my house for Thanksgiving.  I used the freezer paper method using glue sticks and toothpicks for the applique.  I will be teaching a class using this method in the months to come.

Learn the Basics

Learn the basics of quilt making and leave with this little wall hanging (or table topper).  I will teach you how to prepare the fabric, use a rotory cutter and piece two different blocks.  Then, piece the blocks together, put on a border and you are ready for the next class!  If you are in the Kitchener area and are interested, email me at

Well, it has taken a bit of work, but my "Learn the Basics" beginner quilting class is ready.  I can accommodate 3 students for this all day class.  There will be two classes a week, one on a weekday and the other on a Saturday.  I have scheduled the first class for Tuesday, September 20, 2011.  I will be offering many other classes this fall including "applique" and "hand quilting".  Can't wait to get started!!!
